![]() There were food vendors in the back corner and a few booths throughout the venue… mmm, free jerky samples! Details and Tips: - CASH ONLY, so hit the bank before you get there or you’ll have to pay the service fees for the on-site ATM. (And is there a rule somewhere that every table at a gun show must have at least 5 pieces of Nazi memoribilia? For real! Not offended, just amused.) They even had a same-day class to get your concealed carry license at the event. The building was filled with the sounds of tazer guns and tables selling guns (obviously), knifes, holsters and tactical accessories, personal safety equipment, old military gear, apparel, books, coins, historical memoribilia, and the random sprinkling of pretty rhinestoned accessories… you know, for the womenfolk who got dragged along. Oh well… we still had a fun time and there was plenty of stuff to drool over. I *was* hoping it would be held in the dual expo buildings with 2 stories, but it was held in the single room building that houses animals during county/state fair. It was my first time at this particular one and it’s the largest gun show I’ve been to. We went to Crossroads of the West Gun Show at Cal Expo last weekend. Kids 12 years and younger would be free but I would bring them if I think that they can value the experience.Īhh, I love the smell of gun shows in the morning. $ 14 entrance, $ 10 parking, and gas getting there, I wanted to make sure I got some savings to make it well worthwhile the time and effort. For the majority of the handgun ammo prices, I saved a lot of $$$. Ammo? There were two major bulk ammo retailers and I really compared their prices between Factory New, Factory Reloads, and Reloads. Some of the embroidered materials were very competitively priced. I would have rated the event with 2-stars if it wasn’t for the ammo prices and some of the apparel exhibitors. In my opinion, it would have been cheaper to buy on EBay with the free shipping. I wanted to see what they had to offer on some Factory Branded mags and in my opinion, it was cheaper to go online and pay for shipping. They had a bunch of sellers whose prices were comparable to retail prices. It looked like it was discounted if you sign up in person vs. They offered CCW classes for Utah but their prices were different than what was posted online. It looked more like a Craft Show about guns with the majority of the exhibitors. ![]() Gun Prices were relatively the same as that of a normal retailer and could actually be less expensive elsewhere. In my opinion, Crossroads should have been able to push a little bit better to have more retailers/wholesalers present relative to all the advertisements they were running on TV. I have been forewarned by others of what to expect in California Gun Shows but I thought to it should be well worthwhile to still check it out.
